Over 20 Years Creating Motion Design, Animation and Visual Storytelling
I am a Senior Motion Designer, Title Sequence Director and Filmmaker with over 20 years' experience creating motion design, animation and visual storytelling across film, television, advertising, games and digital media.
My work ranges from feature film title sequences and branded content to broadcast graphics, editing, compositing and mixed-media animation. I enjoy developing projects from initial concept and storyboard through to final delivery, combining strong design, creative thinking and technical problem-solving.
Recent work includes designing and directing the opening title sequence for the feature film The Queen of Fashion, contributing animation to the Netflix documentary short Too Disgusting To Be Confused, creating the production logo animation for Fox Cub Films featured before the feature film Layla, and producing AI-assisted visual development and animation with Myth Studios.
Alongside commercial work, I write and direct independent animated films. My latest short, Troll Story, won Best International Animated Short at Focus Wales and has screened at festivals including Aesthetica Short Film Festival, Vienna Shorts, Athens Animfest, Indie-Lincs International Film Festival and Sunrise Festival.
Earlier personal films include Bob by Oliver Smith and Thank You Market, both award-winning animated shorts that reflect my long-standing fascination with visual storytelling, title design and experimentation.
I remain particularly interested in title sequences, mixed-media animation, AI-assisted creative workflows and finding new ways to combine traditional motion design with emerging technologies to create distinctive, engaging work.
